Enrichment
Project Delta offers sessions of Geometry and Model building tailored to students National Curriculum level. Participants will build an excavated truncated octahedron and come to understand some of its many properties. For instance, this Archimedean solid tessellates 3D Euclidean space .
With our pre-cut and pre-creased sheets, an attentive students can make a good model within an hour.
Suitable for 10 -16 year olds. Those who can work with similar triangles and Pythagoras’s Theorem will be able to make an interesting discovery.
